what size should i order?

Our garments are designed to fit a range of body types, with some offering more flexibility than others. For specific garment measurements, please refer to our size chart for each individual item, found on the “fit & sizing” tab under the listing. do you have a storefront?

Unfortunately we are online only at this time, but may have some pop-ups in the future. Please visit our stockists page for a list of our current retailers, and sign up for the newsletter to keep up with pop-ups.

what does "made-to-order" mean?

This means we make most of our inventory as it is ordered. Once you place your order, we put in our order for it to be cut and sewn. This ensures we are not over-producing inventory, which is one of the major causes of fashion-related waste. That's why our orders take a little longer to ship than most brands!

do you ever have sales?

We have a very limited number of sales, which would be promoted through our Instagram or newsletter. You can follow us @by.kvp or subscribe to our the newsletter below to be the first to know.

do you gift wrap?

At this time we don’t offer gift wrapping, sorry!!

yes! you can purchase our garments for your retail store through Faire, at bykvp.faire.com

can I cancel/or change an order?

Our items are made-to-order, with an order going out every couple weeks to our seamstresses. If you’ve made a mistake on your order, reach out to us immediately and we will try to get it switched in time to make the change.

what payment methods are accepted?

We accept most major credit cards and Paypal. 

can you expedite my order?

Unfortunately we cannot always accommodate expedited order requests. Our seamstresses set their own hours which is why we estimate 4-6 weeks to ship. If you need an item quickly, we are happy to check if there is any existing inventory available for you to purchase. However, as our items are mostly made-to-order this can’t be guaranteed.

help!! my item is lost, stolen or damaged in transit! 

We are really sorry that this happened! However, by kvp is not responsible for any lost or damaged, or stolen packages once it is shipped from our facility. In addition, packages that say delivered that have not arrived, fall in the lost, damaged, stolen category. Please contact the shipping carrier and open an enquiry directly. If the item appears to be faulty from a manufacturing perspective, please reach out to us directly and we will get you taken care of right away!

returns & exchanges

what is your return policy?

by kvp will issue a store credit or refund for any full priced product purchased from our online store (bykvp.com) within 14 days of the products original delivery date.We want our customers to be happy with both their garments and online shopping experience. Anything purchased through our retailers must be returned or exchanged per their policies directly through them. Because of the way Shopify is set up, a new order has to be created to exchange any items.


You are welcome to try on an item, but all returned products must be returned in new and unused condition free of stains & odors.If you would like to start a return, email us at sales@bykvp.com with your order number in the subject line, within 14 days of delivery for return delivery instructions. After 14 days, we cannot issue store credits or refunds.The cost of sending back the product is at the customer's expense and original shipping costs are non-refundable, unless we deem the product faulty, in which case we will reimburse you for the product and shipping costs upon our inspection.


By kvp can not be held responsible for any lost or undelivered returns; so we strongly recommend using a tracking service when sending the product back to ensure it’s safe delivery with us.We will issue a refund or store credit once we have received and approved that the product is in its original condition. A return processing time of up to 10-12 business days may apply.


Sale products and products purchased during a discount period are not eligible for a refund, and may only be returned for an exchange or store credit within 14 days.

how do I start a return?

Email us at sales@bykvp.com within 14 days of receiving your package with your order number in the subject line and the reason for your return and we will get you taken care of!

how long after requesting a return will I receive my refund?

We will issue a refund or store credit once we have received and approved that the product is in its original condition. A return processing time of up to 10-12 business days may apply. We appreciate your patience as we are a tiny team wearing a lot of hats!

what is your international return policy?

We accept international returns at the customer’s expense. The item must be in unworn, undamaged, saleable condition. If you would like to start a return, email us at sales@bykvp.com with your order number in the subject line, within 14 days of delivery for return delivery instructions. After 14 days, we cannot issue an store credits or refunds. We highly recommend using a shipping service with a tracking number, so we can track the safe return of the item. We will issue a Refund or Store Credit once we have received and approved that the product is in its original condition. A return processing time of up to 10-12 business days may apply.

can I make an exchange?

If your item has already shipped, we would be happy to issue an exchange once we receive it back. However, our normal processing times (4-6 weeks) may apply as items are made-to-order and inventory is limited. We can issue the exchange as soon as the original item is received in unworn, unused condition. If you made a mistake on your order, please contact us right away with your order number and the mistake item so we can try to get it fixed for you. 


Items can only be exchanged for a different size or color in the same style. All exchanges are subject to availability.Please note that sale items cannot be returned for a refund, only store credit or exchange unless they are faulty.Faulty Sale items returned for exchange, will only be accepted if;-the goods have not been worn, damaged or washed;-the goods are returned within 14 working days of delivery

when will my order ship?

Orders may take up to 4-6 weeks to ship, depending on when the order was placed. We work to get every order out in a timely manner and strive to ship sooner than this, but can’t guarantee a faster turnaround time. This does not include shipping/transit time, which varies greatly depending on destination. 

where are items shipped from?

We ship all items from Encinitas, CA.

how much does shipping cost?

Your shipping costs are calculated based on your destination and service selected. We work with UPS, USPS, and DHL.

do you ship internationally?

Yes! We do. Just select the shipping service you wish to use at checkout. Please note that we are not responsible for customs/duties, which may be an extra fee upon arrival to your country. 

do you offer free shipping?

All orders over $250 ship free within the United States. At this time, we unfortunately cannot offer free international shipping.
